Stories Matter

Why Our Stories Matter

Stories have been an integral part of human culture since the beginning of time. They capture our lives, giving us a sense of meaning and purpose, stitch together communities and create cohesion. Stories are the way we make sense of the world around us, and they help us understand our place in it. Whether it's a bedtime story, a novel, or a movie, or a song, stories, tales, fables, myths, have the power to transport us to different worlds and to connect us with others. They allow us to experience deep emotions and to empathize with others, taking us into places and mindsets we had not known before. In short, stories matter because they help us understand ourselves and the world around us.
